I sent email to the original poster [ggm@brolga.cc.uq.oz.au]. I am
currently doing it also, as matter of fact i'll have a built kernel
by tonight i think (i'm doing this at home on my free time). It
is pretty straight forward, mbuf's are the most significant difference
between 4.3 and net2 that i can see (as far as compilation goes), this
only shows up in a couple files.

Unfortunantly, all i have to test with is the loopback until i can
convince someone at work to let me use a 386, or can scrounge up a
second machine for home. Oh well, it's not as bad as writting
X apps on a vt100 8-).

I have done this with out first speaking up in this group because
this is my first attempt at doing anything *serious* in the kernel
networking code, therefore would be inferior to what should be
expected, until i had a chance to see if it actually worked.

I'll be glad to help in any manner that i could be useful.

BTW - i would be glad to hear/read about the differences between 4.3
networking and net2, other than a few structure changes, etc.
