The difference is that the Linux distributuions are all the same bits
with different people putting them together for the most part (for
the nit pickers: the kernels are all the same and there are occasional
differences at userlevel).

The BSD guys have different kernels with different bugs.  At least with
Linux you get the same bugs no matter who does your CD.
