For those who are interested in a source code patch, i've also provided a quick'ndirty cvs diff between the 2.2.0 and 2.2.1 tags. See under ftp://freefall.freebsd.org/pub/joerg/. However, literally spoken, since there are two changes in two libraries, you will have to rebuild/install all the static binaries.
