I just installed 2.1.7-RELEASE on a 486-66 with 16 Meg of ram and am trying to get a Boca BB2016 to work in it. I tested the same card in another 486 running 2.0.5-RELEASE which I have been using a Boca BB1008 for quite a while. The card works fine in the 2.0.5-RELEASE machine (So I know the card, cables and adapters are working...). When I run try to use it in the 2.1.7-RELEASE machine using tip, the serial port never sends anything and tip hangs when I attempt to exit using ~. Have I missed anything obvious? If you have it working, can you send me an example of your kernel configuration file??? Many thanks! Dabe
