I think I am having trouble with the Adaptec AIC-7870 controller we have. I contacted BSDI support and have tried every setting I can find as well as getting the latest bios upgrade from NCR. The server has been up for the last year working great with 2.1. The 3.0 upgrade goes okay except for the /etc/rc and the /etc/daily.local files needing massaged. As soon as I reboot I have to run fsck manually and once it is running it will hang intermitantly. I re-installed three times so far. I'm back to 2.1 until the bugs get worked out. ...Dale.
