Hello,

I just recently installed 386bsd for the first time. I also
installed all 58 patches (except #47) of Lambert's patchkit. I
also read his FAQ. I get the usual "all ports busy" message when
I try to run tip. The FAQ said just recompile and that
should fix it. Well, after recompiling it (even with the patchkit,
rebuilt kernel and utils) and I still get the same message. Also,
when I log in as a normal user (non-root) then 'su' (to become
root), my machine hangs, and I am forced to reboot. Any suggestions
to my newbian questions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Russ
