=ever tried NT? Doesn't sound so. (I'm no Bill Gates fan at all)

Your (erroneous) impression is, probably, based on a belief, that
anyone who tried it must like it?

As a matter of fact, the software product I currently develop is
going to run on Irix and NT. So I have to deal with the braindead
one quite a lot. And the constant contrast with Unix (even with
Irix -- my personal workstation runs FreeBSD which is even better)
only increases the dislike...

It probably was a decent OS at the beginning, but Micro$oft dumbed
it down to total crap.

As for Bill Gates, I'm rather a fan of his -- his company managed
to fool millions of dummies quite profitably...
