I have a BSD 2.1.7. box setup and running named, sendmail and inetd
it all works fine BUT I can't find a way to use sendmail from a pop3 client
?

I'm not sure what I need to fake out ..

I can send mail to the net from the BSD box and send mail to myself on the
BSD box but can't login from exchange client on Win95 .. I get log on
errors ...
I'm not sure if this is due to not having a DNS entry for the BSD box on my
ISPs
name server or just something not setup in sendmail ??

I just want to be able to send mail and check mail on the BSD box from
a remote mail client ... I'm not worried about getting e-mail from the
internet
to the bsd box yet ...
