I second that.  Also, if you want to have a book to sit down and play
from, try `System Performance Tuning', (Also O'Reilly?). I found that
I learned a lot about FreeBSD by tuning my own system and reading the
appropriate manual pages,  and I managed  to speed up my system quite
considerably.
