That 'fragementation' has nothing to do with 'fragmentation' as
is known in the DOS world.

The BSD file system put the files in 8K hunks.  At the end of
the file anything that is less than 8K is put in a fragment.
As other files are added, the tails of others could be put in
this fragment depending on how it was mapped.

When a file that has a 'fragement' is extended, this data,
along with the rest IF it makes up an 8K segement will be put
in other extents, and if any is left it will be in a new
"fragment".

'fragements' can hold as little as one part of a file or
several.

Don't worry - that's the way it is supposed to be
