Here in Canada, we win a different contest.  2 official languages, isolated by
10,000 kilometers.   I spent 3 years learning french, but out here on the
west coast, French speaking individuals are about as common as lilies on the moon.
Needless to say, I am a little rusty.   Just as well, given the warm reception
that I saw given to some foriegn linguists on the net recently :-).
