We just replaced an Intel EtherExpress Pro 100 with a 3Com Etherlink XL. Before
the replacement, we were getting 10-20% collisions as reported by netstat -w,
and I was under the impression that this was entirely reasonable on a loaded
hub.

Now we're getting 0 collisions with the new card plugged into the same hub -- I
can't even get collisions using ping -f between a couple servers. Can it be that
we're not getting any collisions, or is the 3Com card not reporting them?

Thanks,

Brian Scott
