     Depends on how you measure reliability - if ALL of those disk drives
has to be on-line at the same time for the system to work, it would be a
lot better to have as few systems as possible running those disks -
preferably one. Fewer links in the chain, so to speak. Of course, it if
HAS to be up, a dual-ported RAID and some high-availability solutions
is what you should be looking for anyhow.
