This is not supposed to be possible.  Both are entirely different
signals.

Not much more than i wrote you already.  Of course, Van Gilluwe (``The
Undocumented PC'', ISBN 0-201-62277-7) contains some references to NMI
generation and handling, but i don't think this will be of much help
to you.
