  Hi,

I was trying to install a program from a cd-rom to my Jazz drive, and
Windows95 never recognized the cd-rom, and I got this message: "D:\ is
not ready". I tried the same thing in my hard drive and it didn't
work either. I thought that the cd was damaged and I run it in
a friend's cd drive and it worked. I installed the program from
my Jazz drive to his HD and everything was ok. When I did exactly
the same in my hard drive I received the message: "Bootstrp This
program has performed an illegal operation...". By the way, I clean the
cd laser len and the cd, too. I have re-installed Windows95 and
I have bought more memory. I also changed the speed of the cd drive.

My Computer? an AT&T Globalyst-375 TPC.

NOTE: I got two zip files from the net when I did a search by
"Bootstrp" : boot8051.zip (Bootstrap program to read an
Intel hex file from a PC serial port, dump it into RAM,
then run it), and bootstrp (Hex file Load-and-Go using
the 8051). I don't know if here is the solution to my
         problem, but it could help.

hope you can help me. Thanks,

   Mariela
