I have an opportunity to buy a system with a Hauppaugh 486-DX25 and a
Purek (Trident chipset) SVGA board, and lots of other standard stuff.

I can't find either of these mentioned in the hardware buyer's FAQ.

Can anyone tell me of their experience with these running 386BSD, Linux,
and XFree86?

Email responses to me and I'll summarize. Thanks in advance,
