No response within a couple of days... so allow me a shameless plug:

I think you can do it with FreeBSD.  Its SCO COFF binary emulation is
good enough to even run larger database programs these days, and AFAIK
the only thing that's still not working right is one of the network
license managers.

Regarding extensive use of SYSVIPC, you gotta reconfigure a kernel
with non-default values, i'd assume.  I've never been using it much
myself.
