Hi all,

Our Squid proxy is hosted on a 386 running FreeBSD 2.1.6. About a week
ago, one of my colleagues mistakenly disconnected the RG-58 cable. After
reconnecting the cable, I found there's a CLOSING connection shown if I
issue the netstat command. I found another FIN_WAIT_1 connection lately.
I tried killing and restarting the squid proxy, but the two persistent.
Will problematic connections time out? Or must I reboot if I want to get
rid of them? Thanks in advance.
