I have got 386bsd up with the bin01 and etc01 stuff loaded ok. The problem is with tip, I have got Terrys hint and tips and it states that if tip has a problem then you need to recompile tip. How do I get my modem to dial with out tip? Cos I have to get to the server system to get the src01 stuff down to patch and recompile tip!! It appears I'm in a "catch 22" can't do one with out the other. The only other soution is to dial out from the server system to my machine and try to uucp the src01 down that way.
