Case closed. I had forgotten to build devices. Thanks to Bob Nestor and
Thomas Bjorn Andersen for pointing that out.

I also heard that the System 7 boot disk should be unabled to boot
NetBSD;
however, the boot diskette with network access seems to work fine.
