Could someone offer any suggestions as to the meaning of the error
message I'm getting, and what I should do to get my Adaptec 1542 scsi
working with my IOMEGA Zip Drive working under FreeBSD 2.1.5 on my Dell
XPS Pro 200n.

I receive the following messages on bootup:

aha0 at 0x130-0x133 irq 10 drq 0 on isa
aha0 waiting for scsi devices to settle
(aha0:0:0) timed out
adaptor not taking commands.. frozen?!
Debugger("aha1542") called

aha0: MBO 02 and not 00 (free)

To install this devivce, I rebuilt the kernel with the aha0 device
enabled, with appropriate irq, drq and other settings. Made
modifications to /etc/disktab for the zip disk (as per frequent postings
to this newsgroup), rebuilt the kernel and booted....

Any suggestions? Could you refer me to any good FAQ or files on the Net
for background info?
