Okay, I got FreeBSD installed on my 486/66 PC. I have a small LAN
consisting of two Macs, an 8-port hub and the PC. The PC has a 3com
3c509 ethernet card. I can't get the PC (while running FreeBSD) to talk
to the Macs and vice versa.

What are some obvious things I need to do to configure FreeBSD (such as
what to put in sysconfig) to be be to FTP to my Mac server, have my Macs
FTP to the PC, and have my Macs telnet to my PC. Please include the
"obvious" things I may have overlooked--this is my first attempt at
configuring any UNIX system. What netmask should I use. I'm not
connecting externally, what IP's should I use?

Reply by e-mail as well as posting would be appreciated. Thanks.
