I have an Archive 4586NP 4mm DAT Auto Loader Tape Drive under FreeBSD
2.1R but can't find any way to control the auto loader. I can
successfully dump/restore to/from the tape.

The man page for FreeBSD's /sbin/scsi command seems like it could be
used to send low level hex commands to scsi devices, but I can't
locate info on just what to send.

dmesg reports:
(aha0:0:0): "ARCHIVE Python 28849-XXX 4.CM" type 1 removable SCSI 2
st0(aha0:0:0): Sequential-Access density code 0x24, 512-byte blocks,
write-enabled

Thanks in advance,

Jeff
