I have a working PPP connection from netbsd/amiga 1.2 to an ISP that use 8n=
   1.
I want to use a CIS account sometimes, but CIS useing 7e1. How do I change
to 7e1? I have done RTFM but found nothing.

Maybe someone could mail me a copy of your cisloginscript?

Hm...

it's IMPOSSIBLE to do PPP (or slip) over 7E1, at least without any
non-standardized encoding; so I assume you're talking about
interactive logins.

You should be able to use either "cu" or "tip" to do this. I don't
know how to setup login scripts with either of them, but you should be
able to switch to 7E1, if necessary, with any of them. Read the manual
pages for details.
