Well, ain't it obvious?  It enables tags.  Merely, what is called
``tagged command queuing''.

More performance.  Or shooting in your foot, if you've got a drive
that doesn't grok tagged commands despite claiming support for it.  At
least one of the HP drives is known for such misbehaviour.
