The problems with the RZ1000 were documented in several trade rags.
It works 99.9% of the time but there are possibilities of data corruption.

I actually have a nice Buslogic BT-948 in my computer but it's only
being used for my optical drive.  I know what to buy now, I didn't
a few years ago.
