  I had no problems porting pcnfsd to 386bsd - gcc complained about
 a missing argument (the mode to open() if memory servers) but 
 other than that negligible change it worked straight away.

  Of course, to allow 386bsd to accept non-root mounts (which
 pc-nfs uses) you need to add the "-n" option to mountd (see /etc/rc,
 as well as the mountd man page.)

  After doing that, I had no problem using FTP Software's NFS product
 mounting 386bsd file systems.
