Indeed, sudo has no affiliation whatsoever with Linux.  Linux is
just one of the many platforms it runs on.  Newer versions of
sudo compile on BSD/OS right out of the box.

The latest sudo may always be gotten via anonymous ftp from
ftp.courtesan.com in the directory /pub/sudo/.  The current
distribution is cu-sudo.v1.5.3.tar.Z.  Or, for browser folk:
