Well, the article I followed up on has a date of 1997-02-02 in the
headers.  I'm not using PPP over the ISDN link (no need for that as
my side is authenticated by phone-no) so i can't comment on that.
Apparently PPP is available, too, but needs some more tweaking for
installation as it's still work in progress.
The only tweaking I had to do was applying a patch to teles.c for
the AVM A1 support.  This change was really smooth (running patch
and that's it).
