Debian does a very good job at forwarding these reports to the
developers.  Since many Debian package maintainers do feel responsible
for their packages, these quite often contain bug fixes, too.

The thing that initially attacted me to Debian was that they were the
only distribution maintainers who ever wrote me a bug report.
