i agree.  i will sing the praises of linux up and down, but i can't
convince any of my friends to use it because they are either
completely computer illiterate or don't have the time to spend
configuring their system.  i'll tell you, now that i have a running
linux box it is such a joy!  of course, i really enjoy fiddling . . .
so this is the first time i have everything going and it is powerful!
