We recently upgraded our POP server to Netscape mail server
1.1. The accounts that run only POP mail work great. But anyone who
uses both POP mail and the Unix mail have had problems with bouncing
and EVERY mail message sent to a shell user generates the following
message:

The local delivery program, /usr/libexec/mail.local, generated an
error message
while delivering to the account for
rdurkee@roco.bloomington.k12.mn.uss
        mail.local: localhost: Undefined error: 0

Localhost is defined in our /etc/hosts as:

127.1 localhost

Is this a configuration problem or a bug in the early version
of Netscape mail server 1.1. Unfortunately there does not seem
to be a newer version for BSD. Will the SUN version work with BSD?

Thanks!

Russ
