Hi All. I have 386BSD running fine, but I can't seem to get XFree86
running. I have a standard 486DX with an ET4000 based SVGA card and
a normal 14inch monitor.

When I run xinit, startx, X386, X386mono or xdm, the screen flickers
and flashes, pops up a white background for a millisecond and then
crashes out with the standard "server killed by KillClient" etc.

Everything was installed as per the instructions, and I played around
with the video card timings to no avail.

What else do I need to do to get it running?

Craig.
