I've been using the Matrox Millenium at 1280x1024x24
with XFree86 3.2. It seems to work quite well, although
the speed of the server is OK, but not great (yet).

Checkout the URL

for status on the Matrox Xserver. It sounds like the
3.2A release (in Feb.) will be a big improvement in
preformance.

Email me at <alan@lundin.abq.nm.us> if you'd like me
to send you my XF86Config.
