Well, an acknowledgement that it's no longer a complete disaster.

There's a couple of Linux boxes off on the net with fairly recent kernels that
kick me off when they start getting heavily loaded. I don't know whether it's
due to the networking stack, or the scheduling, or something else... but there
is still some catching up to do somewhere.
