I*Y*HO. see how much i care. (yawn...)

but the "debate" is unresolvable; it isn't about the legal niceties of
license arguments, it *certainly* isn't about economics or software
design. it's about morals and ethics, about the philosophy of what is
and is not morally right to do in certain unusual and specific
instances.

as such, and as morals and ethics are inherently subjective matters of
personal opinion, there are no hard facts to be reached through
continuing the debate, no objective truth to be found in it; if this
flamefest has so far generated all heat and no light, it's because it
doesn't have any light to give. it doesn't belong _anywhere_ in the
comp.* hierarchy; it might belong in some newsgroup concerned with the
philosophy of ethics, but i won't be bothered to find it. flamewars
belong in alt.flame, period.

(oh, and John: you will NOT be forgiven for that debacle on the
SparcLinux mailing list. ever.)
