No, not worth, not even 2 cents.  If you followed this newsgroup more
closely, you would have noticed that most of these ATAPI problems have
already been solved in newer systems.

Again, if you have an ATAPI drive, try one of the 2.2 versions (SNAP,
BETA, GAMMA (tomorrow :)) first, before complaining here.  If you have
a good reason to use 2.1.6, well, then you're on your own.  2.1.6 was
aimed on people who need stability, not on people who need to get away
with the cheapest hardware around.  2.1.x is, technologically seen, a
1.5 years old system.  This brings some stability with it, but
definately causes it to lack some of the more interesting newer
features as well.
