I would like syslogd to pipe some of the message to a program-filter.
On Irix (5.3, at least) this is possible by including
`|/full/path/to/the/program' as the second column of /etc/syslog.cong

Is it possible to (without named pipe -- I do not want the filter to
seat there forewer waiting) do on FreeBSD, and if not, is not this a
usefull feature?
