I've searched carefully in the documentations but found nothing: is an
Adaptec AHA-2825 VLB SCSI host adapter supported by FreeBSD? I can get
one for a good price and the person who sells it says that other operating
systems like OS/2 recognize it as an AHA-1540 and use those drivers.

Another question: as I wasn't able to find further information about the
2825, will it give me a speed improvement compared to an AHA-1542B?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Martin
