Here's the thing: I only get like 75 megs, and apparently that is because of the bizarrre way the kernal deals with IDE drives, by treating them as ESDI? Anyone know about this? I haven't brought down the sources yet cause I am doing it via sneaker net... Also, why won't tip open com2? Either as itself or acting like cu, it says lock open: No such file or directory all ports busy This is infuriating cause it says that with getty std.2400 or getty d2400, either on or off, or no entry at all... With a getty entry, I can watch the system send out a login prompt, but I can't get tip to do anything with it... Aaargh...
