The sparc 5, for example, has a bi-directional parallel port.  It is the
connector just above the ethernet AUI connector with the // symbol.
You'll need a special cable to use it.  The device is /dev/bpp0
(Bi-directional Parallel Port).  It's what my cheap cannon bubble jet is
connected to.
