Anyone that could help it would be greatly appreciated. I am trying
to make it so people can download and see all the files available
on our ftp server but not erase or remove directories that have
been created on our ftp server.

Any Ideas, I know it has something to do with chmod? But what exactly?
what would be the command?

chmod -w *.* does not do it for an anonymous login to the ftp server

any response would be appreciated...
