Hi, I am attempting to configure the NNTP package (nntp-1.5.11.5) under
2.1.5 and have met a problem.

I am assuming the the compiled nntpd is built for standalone use (ie not
inetd), and that it should be started in rc.local. I have created a
username 'usenet' which appears to be required for posting to the daemon.
I have also created a /var/spool/news directory and made usenet its owner
(although I have also provided all access to other usernames temporarily).

My problem is that I cannot currently post to the server from any other
machine. On the server, I receive the console error

	nntpd[117]: yyy.mydomain.xxx disconnect: Broken pipe

All hints and pointers to a relevant nntpd FAQ would be appreciated
