I've noticed a couple of similar messages in this thread: ``Installing
XXX was easy, but later installing YYY was hard.''  I would gather
that Linux and FreeBSD are _different_ to install; if you're moving
from one to the other, don't assume you already know the installation.

FWIW, I found the initial FreeBSD install pretty straightforward.  It
did take me two days and four tries before I was satisfied, but there
were no major confusing points--just my typical waffling about the
right options.  <grin>
