I specifically steered clear of the Am5x86/133 P75+ when I built the machine that runs my irc server. Instead, I used a Cyrix 5x86 120 which benchmarks a little higher than a P90... Turns out neither of them can really handle the load, so going to be upgrading to a P166+ soon myself. Another server on the net recently installed one, and despite problems that linux is giving him (imagine that), it's performing well. I've been a little leary of AMD since I found out that their competitor's 120MHz chip outperformed their 133MHz.
