Can someone explain how to install XFree86 3.2 release on a Win95
system - there is no pre-existing Unix OS on the system, and the
documentation that comes with the binaries seems to assume it is
instaling over an existing version. I am unable to run any of the
commands to install XFree. I have managed to unpack the files and
copied them to a new partition set up for the purpose i.e.

d:\usr\X11R6 ...etc., but that's where I'm stuck. Have I approached
this completely the wrong way?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Thanx in advance, JM.
