Hello,

I'am running Linux for over one year at home, and approximatively the same
time at work (1.2.13 Yggdrasil and now 2.0.18 RedHat). Great fun to use it.
However, I have to say that networking (ethernet) is not so mature on Linux
as on *BSD (we are also using NetBSD 1.0 and FreeBSD 2.x).
Especially when you are trying to merge with an existing heterogenous TCP/IP,
NFS network (SunOS/Solaris/Irix/HP/...).

But, hopefully, it will become more and more mature over time.
