I am putting together all the facts I need to install (first FreeBSD
installation) Freebsd vers. 2.1.6 on my PC (configuration below). I
have read the tutorials, FAQs and documentation pointed to by URLs
founded in www.FreeBSD.org pages

Am I correct to say that you can install the root directory in a hd
slice past the 528 MB limit if the BIOS supports LBA?

Does the root directory slice have to be on the c: drive or can I put
it on my e: drive? I think that you can't but I am hoping. The e:
drive is empty for that reason.

Thanks.

mrb.
