I have a 2.2-BETA installation on a pentium 83 overdrive with 32mb of
memory using the two standard serial ports and a Cyclom 8Ye/RJ45. I
setup the ports as the handbook suggested using the locked baud
configuration and dialout works beautifully, however dialin results in a
high speed endless stream of login prompts on the client terminal
session which eventually overflows the buffer and causes the Ctrl-G to
ring forever until I hang up. Has anyone else seen this? I have used all
the default settings on COM1/2 and the Cyclom and have trimmed almost
everything but the basics out of the kernel.
