Hi!

I have some questions concerning FreeBSD installation

1. When I try to install it over SLIP, it says: cannot configure slip
interface (or something similar)

2. Installing over PPP works, but it always tries to use /dev/cuaa0 and
doesn't care whether I've chosen com1 or com2. As usually mouse is in
com1 I have to manually set device /dev/cuaa1. Why?

I use leased line connection with baseband modems to cisco 2511 where I
have dedicated ppp (or slip).

3. I need to put 3 ethernet cards in FreeBSD box. Can I use 3 NE2000
cards? By default there are only ed0 and ed1. Does FreeBSD accepts ed2?

With best regards,

Mart
